The International Language Company has 18 years experience in foreign language typesetting and artwork and is a leader in the field. This experience allows us to avoid the numerous pitfalls in working with foreign text in graphic programmes and to produce professional quality artwork to an existing or new design, first time, every time.
We have full DTP capability in all languages on Mac, but also run Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai and Arabic Windows. We can therefore receive foreign language text in virtually any format and have the option of typesetting under both Mac and PC platforms.
We work extensively with InDesign, Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop and PageMaker, but also have most other graphic design/DTP programmes. We have over 1,000 foreign fonts.
Output for non-Latin alphabet languages is normally to Illustrator EPS outlined to curves and placed in the original file, although several other digital and hard copy output options are available.
The International Language Company also has considerable experience in multi-language typesetting where a consistent design and feel must be produced across several languages. This involves the coordination of Asian and European font styles, point sizes, leading, etc.
